Frequently asked questions

We answer all your questions

Do I need to buy a ski pass?
Children all need a ski pass except those in Ourson and Flocon levels who do not need one for the 1st day (their instructor will tell them if a ski pass is required for the following days). It is free for children under 5 years old and can be purchased at the ski lift ticket office with a proof of age. (photo required)
How should I equip my child?
You must bring a suitable snowboard equipment and warm clothes.
My child has never skied before. Can he/she take snowboard lessons?
Yes. These are 2 totally different disciplines and it is possible to start snowboarding without ever having skied.
How should I dress my child?
Ski jacket, Warm, comfortable and waterproof ski suit or overalls. Mittens rather than finger gloves, mask or sunglasses (attached with a cord). Anti-UV index 3 minimum.
Which insurance should I take out for ski lessons?
The esf does not insure its students, we recommend the "Carré Neige" which covers you in case of accident or illness. You will find more information on our website under the heading "Carré Neige" insurance or on the website www.carreneige.com - you have the "carte neige saison" - check with your bank, sometimes your credit card covers you! Secure payment.
